The Circulatory System's Purpose.
The Circulatory System's job is to carry blood throughout the body.
It carries it to the organs and other areas of the body that need it.
The system must also carry gaseous wastes to the respiratory system so that it can get rid of them

Key Organs in the system
Key Organs include: the heart, blood and blood vessels.
The organs and their general Path
First, Deoxygenated blood gets to the heart through the vena cava. Blood then enters the right atrium and is sent back to the heart through the pulmonary vein. Blood then enters into the left atrium. Then the blood goes through the Left ventriocle. Then the aorta and finally the blood travels all over the body and the cycle repeats.
THE LEVELS OF ORGANIZATION
The Organ system is the Cardiovascular system. Then the organs include: The heart, Bone marrow, Blood vessels and blood itself. The blood is a tissue and it's red and white blood cells are the cells.
The Organs Themselves
Heart
The heart is a muscle that pumps blood around the blood vessels by rhythmic contractions. Blood Vessels These blood vessels include, arteries, veins, aortas, etc. and they are all used as a form of transport for blood. Blood Blood is a tissue that gets pumped all over the body through the circulatory system. |
